I Love Orange
The long wait
is over. This day marks the third time my family would eat at Pancake House in
Tagaytay City. I have been wanting this to happen because on the first and
second time we ate at Pancake House, I didn’t take any pictures to cherish this
childlike happy memory of mine. Pancake House was my first-ever favorite
expensive dining experience. When we were living in Tondo, highlighted
occasions were celebrated at the Tutuban Branch of Pancake House. I would
always order my favorite chicken sandwich and, of course, pancakes.
My waistline is
in trouble again after indulging in potato salad, spaghetti with meat sauce,
pan chicken, two pancakes, and a bottomless iced tea. But who cares? I love
being in this place! I actually liked the ambience, although it felt like Manny
Villar financed the construction of it. The menu was orange, the place mat was
orange, the people were orange (just kidding, they wore orange), the building
itself is mostly orange. I really hate orange, but began to love it while
observing the restaurant.
After going to
church, we went to SM and then to Tagaytay City. At approximately 8:00 P.M., we
arrived home. My case study was barely one page long then, trouble finds itself
with me when it comes to meeting deadlines. But anyway, rush writing got into
my system. I was physically tired and naturally lazy when it comes to school
work. But as a challenge, I told someone I’ll get the paper done in an hour. I
failed – I did it in an hour and a minute. I failed in a matter of a minute.
