Chains

I can feel the coldness again

I hope I am numb right now
Not feeling anything
So this inconvenience cannot haunt me
Break me into pieces
Shatter my utmost being

Now, all that's left of me is troubled
From the chills up and down my spine
I cannot control it
No escape from where I am now

All I do is weeping
Hoping for the day to come
A warm embrace, deep inside your arms
So I could stop pretending I'm alright

Changing conditions are bringing me down
All I can think of is look at us now
Drowning in the noise of revolt
With nobody but myself to blame
Feeling so lost because of the chains
I'm stuck in this immovable seat
